Like Steve Hammond, I knew Glen and Karl while at Highland Falls High. I deployed to Vietnam with 82d Airborne in February '68 during TET, did a second tour with First Air Cav and 5th Group. Didn't learn about Glen's death until long after I returned in 1970. I remember Glen and Karl as terrific guys; they were good friends, and a tight team as brothers. I graduated VMI ('67), but when I think of West Point, my thoughts return to the Iveys. God keep Glen close; he is with friends and comrades. |
