"Pop" Brown was a gentle man and a friend. He had a light sense of humor and a wisdom beyond his years - that's why we called him "Pop" in F-3. Later, "Pop" moved to H-3 and we missed his subtle wit and those in need of "tenths" missed his star man intelligence freely given in late night tutoring sessions. As the 30th Reunion of the Class of 1970 approaches, I wonder how vulnerable, brilliant "Pop" would have fared. He left good memories with a lot of us in just a few short years. You're still with us, "Pop." Rest in peace. Your friend, Hep |
