It's been 18 years and I still can't believe John is gone. We grew up in the same place, the steel patch outside Chicago in Northwest Indiana, where he was Mr. Basketball- no one has touched his accomplishments since. There was never anyone like the Buzzard, and he and the beautiful Pam were a love-story for the books. I love him and miss him still, as do we all. God, please hold John close and safe in your Big Hand. Love, Sully |
