| Although we were USMA classmates, Roland and I became friends when we struggled together through the ORSA Engineering degree program at the Naval Postgraduate School together. Not only was Roland a serious and dedicated student, but he was also the epitome of what one expects in an Army Officer. He always "walked the talk". At the same time, he was a devoted husband and father to his family and dedicated to his Faith. I will always remember him as a good friend who never encountered a problem that he couldn't find the solution. He will be missed by all of us fortunate to have known him. May God bless and keep him. |
