Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Jim Hillebrand on February 12, 2009:

There are so many memories, so many stories, but many of them not for public consumption! Bill certainly didn't get cheated in living his life because he filled it to the max. We worked together at McDonnell Douglas in the early days as young sales pups, learning the trade and having great fun along the way. The golf course was always a lure for both of us and we found a way to play whenever possible. Bill loved the game, the camaraderie and the personal challenge to get better. He was a great story-teller with an infectious laugh and a smirky grin. Bill worked hard, was one of the best "numbers" guys I've known, and made everyone around him better. He loved his Susie (who put up with so much!) and raised his boys to be men. What more can you say about a father, husband and friend? We'll all miss you, Wild Bill.
