Be Thou At Peace

| I knew him as "Uncle Tim". He was a wonderful figure of my childhood. I always knew he was in the military but never learned of all his wonderful accomplishments until later in life. My uncle always provided the most positive encouragement. He was your biggest fan no matter what the activity was. I miss the encouragement he provided. His thorough questions and attention to details. The way he could eat like he hadn't eaten in days. The smell of his aftershave when he would visit and still shave every morning. He was a great man and our family misses him dearly. Thank you for your service to our country Uncle Tim! And thank you for being a great figure in my life. I still think of you often. God bless. |
