Dave's Family (personal and West Point): I thought of Dave as I drove through West Virginia yesterday. The mountains were beautiful and just finishing their 'Fall show.' We met over 37 years ago during the bonding period of Beast Barracks. And while you, Lou DeScioli and I had precious little time for 'bonding' between the last shoe shine, bed and breakfast, I valued the time of learning about how three very different regions, backgrounds and goals could come together so well for such a common purpose. Thanks for the moral support you gave me for my own values that lasted through our time at West Point and service to our country. |
