Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bob Frank on April 18, 2001:

Joe was a wonderful guy and a great friend. He was probably one of the most popular classmates of all...and I still miss him to this day.

Joe and I both hail(ed) from New York's Mohawk Valley...he from Frankfort, near Utica and I from an even smaller town with the unpronounceable name--Canajoharie. Joe and I actually met in our senior year in high school. After one of my wrestling matches, this burly guy introduced himself to me as just having been appointed to USMA! Joe was one of the top wrestlers in all NY State. Thus began a friendship which included frequent car pooling to and from home during our cadet years.

I don't believe Joe's obit has been published yet in ASSEMBLY. I'd be happy to contribute and even facilitate the effort if some of you all can join in. Please email me (pointer@houston.rr.com) or call (713.952.1502, 24/7) about this.

Best to each of you,
=bob frank=
