I am saddened to learn of Mike's passing. He was my Commanding Officer when I served as an aviator in the District of Columbia Army National Guard at Davidson Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He exemplified professionalism and continuously displayed the leadership qualities most desired, appreciated and respected by subordinates, contemporaries and superiors alike. I was a better soldier, aviator and officer for having had tbe benefit to serve in his command. I will always remember him with admiration and respect. Rest in peace, Sir. Gregory J.
