| We last met about 5 years ago at Disney World with our West Point company A2 classmates. He is principled and humble and funny the same as from 1967 to 1971 including about 6 months in 1969 when we roomed together on the top floor of the then-new MacArthur Barracks overlooking the West Point plain. He played on the Army basketball team that won a spot in the final four of the NIT tournaments in 1969 and 1970. Playing for Coach Bobby Knight and teammate of "Coach K", he excelled on the court as he has since in the military and in life. Thank You, Robert. Respectfully, Allan Payne USMA '71 |
