My time spent with Danny was pretty much all while we were cadets (with maybe a class reunion or two thrown in). As a cadet in the company adjacent to I-2, I had a lot of occasions to cross paths with Danny over the time we were at West Point. In looking back at those four years, I am hard-pressed to think of a time when Danny wasn't smiling in his good-natured, low-key way. For sure, I can't think of a single time when I ever saw Danny mad about anything, or about anybody. I don't know very many people that I can say that about. I'm sorry that we have lost Danny as a classmate standing among us so soon, but I am very happy that he was a fellow member of the Class of 1975. |
