| I was sorry to see this and learn of Tom's passing. A Human Being. I was a Plebe when Tom was a yearling and Tom, and John "Bubs" Florio and Mark Girolamo (who has responded), and Rick Coston were all still close enough to their recent experiences that they treated the new Plebes with a certain kindness and restraint. I still remember watching TV (!!) in his room with Bubs -football- on a saturday afternoon after I had managed to get off "The Area". A GOOD person, and a good man. I'm sure he was a good officer, and someone you would want for a friend. RIP, Tom. |
