| Rick was one of my yearlings in Co I-4. He was a very good guy, and as I was the "duty a@@hole" in I-4, I was taking a real beating from Toad(world class a@@hole) and Rocket and Wiswell(jerk) and Benoit and a few of the other Hitler Youth, and after I managed to get off the area, I was taken in by Bubs and Tom Eccleston and Rick, and Mark Girolamo-all men I would STILL have for friends. They were GREAT!! I remember watching a Univ of FLA football game on a little TV with Rick and Tom and Bubs and Mark. Rick was a Gators fan under Steve Spurrier. They were human beings. I was grateful for their friendship. Rick was a fine man. I'm sure he was a fine officer. I remember him well. |
