Since we were in the same Regiment, Mac and I spent a lot of time together. From borrowing some of my disco shirts to exchanging weekend stories, we had a lot of fun times. But what I remember most is the fact that I would never have seen Cow year if it were not for the all-nighter we did when preparing for an exam Yearling year. It was 4:00 a.m. and I was getting sleepy. He said the cannon will go off in two hours, so lets just keep going." Because of his tutoring I passed my exam. I thank Mac for what he did for me in friendship and what he did for all of us who will never forget the joy he brought to our lives. Salute, my brother! Love Collins, III USMA 1976 |
