Sir, It pains me that no one else has filled these spaces with a tribute to you. I knew you briefly during Beast 1976 during the turmoil of the entry of women cadets and the honor scandal of 1977. You then moved on to Brigade staff. I can still hear your deep, booming voice calling cadence "Count, cadence gorilla, cadence gorilla count!" Although the times were tough, you displayed your sense of humor. Sir, I could never attain your sense of perspective or sense of humor or your sense of honor.
