Rick did a lot of great things in his life, but none so special as being an upperclassman on our Cadet Riding Team. As a plebe and yearling, Rick took us under his wing and taught us to be proper Hussars. What a great leader and friend he was...he could have a sense of humor and be dead serious about getting the job done, too. He would have made a great cavalry leader in the days of horse. Thanks Rick! And condolences to all his family...he was very special to so many people that knew him. Clair Conzelman USMA '79 |
