It is with deep sorrow to hear that LTC Lofgren passed away in May 2013. I was his First (1SGT) Sergeant in the 275th Sig Co, 41st Sig Bn in Yongsan Korea from March 1980 to Sep 1984. He was the ultimate Commander, calm, decisive, firm but most of all cared dearly for his soldiers. I admired and respected him deeply.
