I remember John J. (Sean) Powers from my days as a USMA Prep Schooler. I had to pull out my old yearbook to remember his face, now, it has been so many years! I think he was in Charlie company with me, too. He always had a great attitude, and he was fast in soccer, too, I remember that. He loved to play sports. I didn't know him real well, but he sure had that magnetic personality that brought friends around him all the time. As Tim Cretella said in his eulogy, he practiced what he preached and had a heart of gold. He will be missed, and I wish the best for his family. Rest in Peace, my brother in arms.
