I read with sadness the eulogies that were posted by the friends and family of Sean Powers. I also was one of eight children from a large Irish Catholic family. My father, Col. Eugene P. Flanagan (USMA '52) kept us as permanent camp followers with his many PCS's around the world. As with Sean, I also enlisted in the Army and went to USMAPS in 1976. It is always sad when one sees a real Irish go-getter go before his time. Although I did not know you in life, I look forward to meeting you in the afterlife. Be thou at peace brother.
