Randy was a dear friend at West Point. I remember his as a big guy, and a tough football player, but ALWAYS up for a laugh and fun. I had an uncle, aunt and 6 cousins that lived along the coast in Connecticut, which was an amazing short weekend escape when we were firsties. Randy used to come with me and without fail, fun and games ensued. We played baseball in the sheltered street, had square dances with the whole neighborhood, and generally had a great time. Randy was always there when I was having a difficult time. a member of the "Catholic Crew" he always had a listening ear and a responsive heart. Randy was in my wedding as a groomsman and continued as a a member of my family. In later years, Randy could be expected to uphold and support morality, righteous living, rules, and order. I respected that. I will miss him and look forward to seeing him on the other side. Hughsie
