| My heartfelt condolences go out to the Tavrides family. Matt was certainly a one-of-a-kind guy. We walked across the graduation stage together one Saturday morning in Mahan Hall on 20 Dec '80, members of a small group of nine Dec '80 grads. Matt was not only an elite swimmer, but a guy who lit up any room in seconds upon arrival, to include a classroom. Always willing to lend a hand, he will be sorely missed. Be thou at peace my friend. |
