I am not of a great speaker or writer but I wanted to take some time to write a few words in memory of you. I want to thank you for always being there for us when we needed you the most. Thank you for watching over my family while I was deployed overseas. Everything we have and own today it's because of all the help and support you and Carrie have given us. I want you to know that I have always admired all of your love and patience that you shown with all of us, I will never forget that and it inspires me to be more like you everyday. We all miss you very much and the kids talk about you from time to time, especially Gabriel. It hurts my heart that they have lost such a wonderful and loving grandfather, something I could never cherish while growing up. You brought us all together through good and bad times. Even though you are no longer here in person we all know that you are always watching over us and that you are preparing a place for us in heaven. Until we meet again sir.
