I met Billy in ?1979 in Sydney, Australia, my home town. He visited my house with some friends from his ship. We had a fun time together, all too brief and kept in touch by mail for a while. I tried to track him down on his graduation day, as I was at Westpoint that day (coincidentally). Didn't find him, and have always thought about him now and then. After my marriage broke up last year, I thought of him and used the web to see of I could track him down. I was very sad to read of his death- 2 months after the birth of my first child. Thanks for the wonderful time, Billy. I am so glad I met you and had time with you. Susan. |
