Be Thou At Peace

| Bobby was my first roommate as a plebe at West Point. We joined Company B -- 1 after Beast Barracks, and were assigned to a three-man room over the Cadet Store. Al Torres was our third roommate, and the three of us bonded immediately helping each other figure out how to survive that first semester. Bobby was a football recruit who showed great promise from the start so he was scarce at times that first fall, busy on the fields of friendly strife. He was a very warm, thoughtful and caring friend who will be greatly missed by us all. We recently reconnected over Linked in, and he agreed to hunt down our roommate Al. So sad to get this news. Rest In Peace brother. |
