Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bonney Epstein on September 26, 2011:

Gone but not forgotten
The gates of Heaven have opened and my dearly beloved Duane is entering them. Please, God, take good care of Duane. I know he will do good things up there for you. RIP my love. Fly with the angels and know you are deeply loved and missed down here on Earth.

I now roam this place we call earth in a state of numbness that only grief of losing a loved one can bring. I have never lost someone close to me so I do not know what true grief means for me yet. I know in my heart that Duane would not want us to mourn his death greatly, but to celebrate his life and all that he meant to each and every one of us. So, with that, I will pick up the broken pieces of my heart and move forward in a way that Duane would be proud of.

Our darling children are now my guiding light and I must remain strong for them. They will now need me and all of you more than ever, so please lead them with loving hands as they too grieve the loss of their loving and devoted father.

All my posts come deeply from my heart and I sincerely thank all of you for your kindest comments on my strength. I often think I am the biggest wimp around, but all of you keep me going and grounded in my darkest hours. For that, I am eternally grateful. Really, truly, I couldn't have done this without your loving support.

Love to you all,
Tami
