| I am saddened to hear that we have lost another fine soldier. I am an R.N. of 8 years who has lost my fiance SSgt Nathan J. Vacho who died in Iraq May 5, 2006. He was on a CAT Team and got hit by an IED. I am so sorry that another family has to endure the pain that I have felt over the past 9 months. My heart goes out to you and your family. Please keep your head high, and make him proud by continuing on for your child and for yourself. As a result of my loss, I am now an Officer in the Army Nurse Corps. I joined 2 days after Nate passed. My goal is to be in Iraq by the end of this year to help these soldiers get home to their families. My goals have changed and my life will go on, as will yours.
