I received this heartbreaking news from a fellow retired Warrant Officer. We both had worked for Rocky many years ago. I have spoken with several other Warrants that worked around or for Rocky in the past and the one thing that constantly surfaced was his knowledge and professionalism in the areas of Army logistics. Additionally noted was his concern for the soldiers, the ones placed directly under his leadership or those that needed his logistic support to retain the combat power were always foremost in his thoughts. Rocky was a Soldier, a Commander, a Leader, displaying the type of leadership that our armed services need today. LTC Baragona's influence will carry on in untold number of people he has touched in his outstanding, but all too short career. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. |
