I was Dominic's Beast Barracks roommate, in the same squad with Mark and John. This brings back memories of "Thank you Emily..." and "Men, ride that fence..." (Mark and John will remember) as our squad leader "posted" us off to formation. I also served with Rocky in G-3 Plans at XVIII Abn Corps in 96 and 97. Rocky was always there to lend a hand, ever cheerful and was the epitome of selfless service. It is only fitting that he sacrificed his life both defending our republic and helping to bring freedom to the Iraqi people. Please remember him and all of the others who have paid the ultimate sacrifice this Memorial Day. Well done Rocky, be thou at peace. Craig Fox LTC(Ret) |
