| I believe there is no such thing as irony - only God working through us. The fact that Steve died while I am on a 2 week church mission to help street kids escaping abusive homes in Odessa, Ukraine is not lost on me. You see, Steve and I were in both the Russian Club and the Chapel Choir at West Point (probably where I got to know him best). I feel that, if the tables were turned, Steve would be doing a much better job communicating through the Russian language than me. However, I am now honored to be able to do what I can to carry out this mission of universal love and hope to these children in his name and memory. "Well Done, Thou Good and Faithful Servant. Be Thou at Peace." |
