Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Danelle Roth on November 11, 2008:

Todd,
My cousin and my friend. I have many great childhood memories of us, being at Grandma's, going bowling and hangin' out. I remember it used to bother you so much that I was a few months older than you, "girls weren't supposed to be older". As a young man, life seemed complicated and unfair but then maturity seemed to take hold and you were so together. I'm sure the military helped with that, but I also believe it was because of you. I think of you often, even after all these years. I wish we could of had more adult years together but somehow I believe you are with me anyways. My son has your name as his middle name, as I was pregnant with him when you died. They say time heals all wounds - I can't say these wounds heal, they just become manageable. I love you and I miss you so much. You will never be forgotten.

Your cousin, Danelle
