| Today I salute you, my dear cousin and brave soldier. It is Veteran's Day, a day to thank all of those that serve our country. A day I wish I could thank you in person. You left the physical world almost 26 years ago, and I've missed you each and every day. I wonder if you can hear me when I talk to you in my head. At times, I know you are with me, I wish I could see you. I still feel sadness because you aren't physically here, where I can touch you or see you. I miss you so much, I just wish you were here. I love you my cousin, I love you always. |
