| Chris and I served together as Lieutenants in HHC, 2-14 INF BN at Fort Drum, NY when he passed into eternity. He was a very modest and humble person who always took the time to talk with me and to make me feel at home in a unit where I was the only black officer. His wife and he invited me over for dinner several times and it was a joy to be in their company. It's almost been 30 years since we last spoke Chris but I want to say thank you and continue to Rest In Peace my brother! |
