Be Thou At Peace

Posted by James Hamilton on September 26, 2001:

To the Bereaved Friends and Family of Doug Gurian:

Almost all of the people who knew and loved Doug don't know that I even knew him, but I spent many hours playing squash with him at West Point and socialized with him again later at West Point Society of NY meetings. We often ran together after squash practice. Doug was a strong man, a good runner, and all around talented athelete. He was a real contributor to the Varsity Squash team. I also remember Doug as a fun loving guy with a sense of duty. Like all the victims he deserves our prayers. Knowing Doug, I know that his friends and loved ones must be devastated by his loss. The Hamilton family will remember you all in our prayers. I will never forget that big lovable guy.

Respectfully,

James N. Hamilton
