Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Suzannah on May 22, 2013:

I never thought using this modern technology tool that I would actually find you. I am in such shock and to my dismay I only wish I had thought of looking for you sooner. I guess it's all timing. Maybe it was never meant. There really was not a time I didn't think of you. As you know. You were my first. So abruptly we parted as you were afraid to disturb your parents. You have not changed since 4/29/1980! Your hair was just longer. I came across a sketch I made that very special night. I was going through my treasure chest as a child and that is what inspired me to look for you to see who you have become. It was of clouds and birds and a daisy. I'm so proud to know you graduated West Point. I wish I had reached out to you sooner. I am at peace now and I hope you are too. So long my "thief of the night"; perhaps our paths will cross one day again.
