| I first heard of Mr. Jarque's name when I had my initial copy of the Army Troopers News magazine and Army Journal. It was also that time when I first read about his work which I found totally inspiring. Through the years, I collected his written works and though I did not had the opportunity to meet him personally, I considered him as my mentor being a writer for these two publications he once worked for. The endless energy, fresh ideas and perspectives he had on issues strengthened my ideals. His death was a big loss but his legacy will live on in the minds and hearts of people he touched. You are a true example of what a true Filipino with a warrior spirit really is. A Cavalier, a West Pointer and a great man. |
