Be Thou At Peace

I am deeply saddened at the news of Jack's passing. Jack was my very first roommate at West Point. Once we got to our room on R Day we thought we were safe. That was until once of our shaving cream cans fell out of the medicine cabinet, hit the corner of the counter puncturing a small hole in it. It fell on the floor, spun like crazy, and shaving cream was shot EVERYWHERE. A Firstie opened the door, saw us standing in shock and told us to clean it up. That was the beginning of my most memorable summer. He was a great roommate. May his family find God's peace and comfort. Heaven has quite a character. I'm sure worship and praise will be a bit more fun. Be thou at peace, Brother. |
