| I met Charlie when we were stationed at FT. Hood the week of the Chinook crash. We talked about going to Austin that weekend after he got back from his training exercise. Unfortunately that opportunity never happened. I did travel to Charlie's funeral with Kevin Kimzey, and was struck by the number of family and friends who attended. It was not hard to realize what a great guy he was. I regret not meeting him sooner. |
