Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Sharon Adamson on August 26, 2005:

Sully was one of the very best men I have ever had the privilege to know. Sully and I went to high school together and through the good, the bad, the happy, the sad, we have managed to stay friends through all of these years.

Sully was very very smart, a very good athlete, very very witty and very very kind. He was the best of everything all wrapped up in one person.

I can not begin to express how much I will miss Sully. And I will continue to pray for his wife and four children and hope they will continue to be guided by the grace of God. Sully was a very religious man and I know his beliefs helped guide him right up until the end. He was a very loving husband, father and friend. His family meant everything to him and he was not afraid to show how much he loved them and cherished them. They were very lucky to have had him even if it was for such a short time.

It is hard to express the feeling of loss that I have right now, but I know I can take with me always his smiling face, his warmth, his geneorsity of spirit and his kindness of heart. He truly was the very best of men.

I am proud to have known him and I will never ever forget him. He will live in my heart always.

God Bless Sully and may he rest in peace always.
