I had the privelege to serve with and learn from Rob as a 2LT and 1LT while stationed at Fort Campbell. Rob was always confident, decisive, and loyal; three qualities all service members covet. He was a born leader, the type of person you read about in larger than life stories, able to make the best of any situation, with the least amount of effort. His ability to lead, teach, and nurture junior soldiers mde him invaluable to the 3/320TH. I am sure his tenure as an officer after my departure was nothing less than spectacular. I am a better person for having known Rob and served with him. There is no doubt in my mind that he is at peace with GOD right now. |
