Be Thou At Peace

| Life seems to pass us by so quickly. It seems as though it was just yesterday Steve and I were at the Point having as much fun as the UCMJ allowed. The geographic bond of someone from Brooklyn and Long Island helped us connect at school, but it was much, much more than that. First, I was probably one of the few who got Steve's humor, or understood the "Brooklynese". But he also became a person that I felt I could always trust, and that is the most precious of things. My sincerest condolences to all those Steve has left behind. Upon graduation we parted ways, seeing each other on occasion at a reunion or maybe a football game, but I will always remember our times together, they are part of who I am. God bless. |
