Be Thou At Peace

| You will not find a better man than Steve Walsh. If you never got the chance to know Steve, then you missed out. He was a loyal and dear friend for twenty five years. Besides the fun times at the Infantry Basic Course and as our paths crossed, mostly at Fort Bragg, Steve remained the same fun loving, motivated paratrooper as in our early lieutenant days. Great infantry officer and leader, Steve was loved and respected by his Soldiers and fellow officers. I will always remember Steve dancing, laughing, and loving life -- and allowing us to enjoy and share in his good nature. May he lie down in green pastures, beside quiet waters. Hang on Steve, we will meet again. |
