I'm devastated. Steven was my High School best friend. I still remember the day he told me he was going to try to get into West Point. I looked him dead in the eyes and said"Bro if anyone of us can do it, it's you Steve" We spent our entire Senior year going to every concert in the NYC area thanks to his brother Mike who worked at a radio station. After HS Steve went off to West Point and I went to Maritime. We shared some crazy stories of that first summer away from Brooklyn and our families and then life started for us two. There are so many great storied about Steve and his character, leadership, wit, dance moves and just how great he was to everyone. Mr Walsh you raised an incredible son and I cry for you Mike and Kristen as I write this. I hope you are looking down upon us Steve and till we meet again one day. Love Ya Bro Miss ya |
