Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Frank Rivera on June 29, 2000:

Tim White....that name echoes on and on in my mind, and as I read the eulogies I cannot help but to shed tears of sorrow and joy. Sorrow because of the loss of a great friend, and joy knowing that he will be with our heavenly Father and that we will meet again. We never kept in touch much, but I cannot help to remember how Tim and I braved Fort Hood together, and how he helped me through the most difficult time of my life while at Desrt Storm. I remember playing in the band with Tim and Paula at the Point, and how he always had a sense of peace and joy about him. Not too many people touch or impress me, but Tim did. I wish I could have been at his side or even seen his face before his departure. Even while I was miles away in another country during his passing, my spirit felt a loss that day. I immediately prayed for the peace that surpasses all understanding for his family and for the comforting hand of our Father in heaven. Praise the Lord for the salvation of him and his family!! Paula is truly a blessed woman. All people should live their lives as Tim did. Take note.
It's hard for me to fight the tears and write this. Paula, you will see Tim again. I truly loved him as a person and a man of God. Even though far in distance, both of you were always on my mind and in my heart. Paula, I will be there for you and the family should you need me. Tim, I expect to see you inthe future again! The benefits of salvation.....what a friend we have in Jesus! The Lord has impressed in my heart to dedicate a song to Tim on my next cd. The Spririt will move and the words and music will come, and the world will know Tim the man, Tim the father, Tim the friend, Tim the man of valor, Tim the man of the Almighty God!! God Blesses!1
