Be Thou At Peace
Posted by SSG Kobel and Wife on March 2, 2009:
We were absolutely stunned when we heard the news and our hearts are sad. Jeanne was a beautiful woman as well as a great soldier. I met her here on Fort Gordon. She always had a smile and a positive outlook on life. She even got me a job here on post when I was so desperately looking for work. She looked out for me as a family member and for others. My heart is sad because she touched me in a special way just as she has touched others. Jeanne you will be missed by us, especially by me. R.I.P.
You Will Be Missed Everyone will miss you Wishing you were here The memories we will treasure And in our hearts hold dear
Your door was always open Your knowledge you've always shared You've passed it down to everyone You've shown how much you've cared
A mentor and a teacher Is what you have been But most of all to each of us You have been a friend

Goodbye my friend
