Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Dwayne S. Milburn on June 10, 2004:

I was stunned recently to learn of Frank's death. In my mind he will always be one of those smiling faces in my tenor section of the Glee Club. It didn't matter what the weather, the course load, the drill season or any of the many thing West Point throws at the Corps of Cadets, Frank took it all in stride and kept on going and encouraged everyone else to do the same.

When I left my post as Director of Cadet Music-USMA I returned to grad school in Ohio. Oddly enough, I met some people that knew Frank and their impressions were much the same: here was a person who could take whatever life dished out and 'keep on keeping on.'

The world is truly a much sadder place without him. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends. God bless and keep you, Frank. You were truly a good man among men.
