Be Thou At Peace

Posted by your little girl shanley on May 30, 2010:

Dear John,
on january 30th,2006 you left this earth and with you, you took a peice of everyones heart you've touched including mine..i miss you all the time and i keep the picture of you and dad in my purse with me everyday, because it reminds me even though your off this earth your still with me. it's funny how if i hear someone call"john" i turn and look as quick as possible hoping you'll be there smiling your famous thousand watt smile..only to dissapoint myself with another person's face.
to catch you up on some things after you left dad got moved up in the woodmen buissness and is hoping for a huge raise in the next 2 years, and mom has gone back to school to be an elementry teach and she graduates this winter. i'm going into high school next year john your little girl is growing up..can you believe it? oh and i cant forget little brie she looks just like me the first time we met...when i talk about you she'll ask questions and sometimes i just cant help it and i'll start crying.
i was up in columbus a couple weeks ago and passed the road to your house...then i heard the roar of a motorcyle engine and i burst into tears i miss you more than ever
do you know the last time i saw you was new years? and when we were writing names on the cups i wrote your name jonh instead of john and i felt soo stupid but you told me it was okay and you liked it spelt that way?
john you broght happiness to every person you say just the smile on your face made everyone glow
i love you forever and always..you'll be close to my heart
love your daughter, shanley
