Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Lew Baker on February 3, 2006:

John

As a plebe in B-3, you know I felt your wrath a few times. It was calm, purposeful, and extremely serious. ?Alacrity and Dispatch.? You were tough, extremely tough, but I know it was because you truly cared about our development. We all could not help but respect you. You were a standard setter and a standard bearer. You set the bar at the pinnacle and lived it. It saddens me deeply to hear of your passing, but your exemplary qualities teachings are eternal. I am sorry that I failed to stay connected with you and your wife.

Trudy, as you know, John worked hard all his life. I wish you all of the best, and the comfort of knowing that John is at rest in a better place.
