John, I can still see you sitting in our room plebe year wearing my headphones and eating ice cream. Lots of ice cream. I am sure you still hold the Academy record for the Boodlers run. You taught me, and all around you, more than you could know about what it means to be a soldier. I don't have the words to express my sadness that you have left us. Sandy's and my prayers are with you, Trudy, and your family. May your love, zest for life, and dedication to that which was greater than yourself bless the members of the Long Gray Line for all eternity. "Well Done! Be Thou at Peace." Todd and Sandy |
