Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Trudy Jones Lewis on June 4, 2006:

Hey Baby,

I just wanted to let you know that I miss you. Yesterday would have been our 17th wedding anniversary. After four months, it's still hard for me to grasp that you are truly gone. I have a lot going on. I'm preparing to change jobs and transfer with Battelle to Atlanta. The house is on the market, so I've been really busy (you know how much I hate moving). Today I got back from the Outerbanks vacation that we had planned. It wasn't the same without you. But, I got to see our beautiful Riley-roo. She's trying hard to walk and she's as sweet as ever. I also saw Alicia and our godchildren. I saw your Mom and Pam this morning before flying out of Norfolk to return home. You'll be glad to know they're doing fine. I'm hanging in there too. I've seen a lot of our friends over the last several weeks and everyone checks in with me often. Our friends are so awesome. I just wanted to let you know that you are so missed and that you were so loved. I hope you're all good.

Love, Trudy
