Joe, I don't know much of what to say, other than the world is a little gloomier without you around. I remember seeing you get baptized and the great joy it brought to you. I remember you faith and your strength, and knowing that I'm sure you're in a great place right now. That doesn't make it much easier to accept that you're gone. I will always remember your beaming smile and your willingness to always help others. You were one of the people who exemplified the selfless service that being a good soldier is all about. We lost touch once we got out, as I have with almost everyone, but I still thought of you. Now I will think of you still, but it will always be a picture of a great man with a smiling face. |
